It is Not the End of the World when Your Router Dies
The past few days have been difficult. My wireless router rolled over and died on me, so it made getting work done a little less comfortable. Luckily I had an extra rj45 cable in the closet, so I could remain plugged in. I usually use my laptop downstairs, in the living room or at the kitchen table in the morning, but this time I had to actually sit upstairs where my cable connection was originally set up. It is not that I do not like the room, but I noticed since I started doing work from home that I get more done if I change my scenery and move around a bit more. I work outside when it is nice enough, because the router had a strong enough signal to reach into the yard. Being tethered reminds me of my old office job. I have a router on order, so things will be back to normal soon.
